About

Hi, Brent Budreau here. I’m the little guy hanging with dad on one of his first purchased tractors. I love agriculture, the farming community and enjoy helping seeds grow to there full potential. Being a 5th generation farmer has given me a deep-rooted passion to assist and consult farms on everything surrounding profit and yield.

Previous Experience

It all started getting valuable experience on the farm helping my Grandpa and dad. Whether it be riding along in the 1 ton truck sprayer on a make shift seat or naps on the floor of the truck hauling in to the now painted Fowler elevator back in the day. Before you know it FFA, 4-H and Purdue came along. Enjoyed majoring in Ag Business and Minoring in Crop Science for the short time that lasted. Four years does fly!

Working for a local Seed Production company was a great experience learning to manage a seed production plant in several different areas of the midwest. Contracting acres, cleaning the seed, treating, bagging, and warehousing gave me a look into why a bag of seed is so special.

Most recently, working for an up and coming local start-up seed company showed me the sales and service side of the business. From selling direct, managing, and recruiting new dealer and retailer relationships to overseeing the plot program and end-market user relationships. Traveling around 10 states and visiting with farmers, state agronomists, company managers, and salesmen allowed me to see a different view of the seed industry. What a time to be alive. Looking forward to what the future has in store here at Budreau Ag! Stay tuned-in!
